The division completed a solar cell/module factory which produces a worth of $ 120 mil. solar cells and modules per year at Umsung, North Chungcheong Province. HHI invested over $30 million to build the solar factory and installed a variety of production equipment. The division moved 20MW class of solar module production facilities to a new location from the Seon-am factory in Ulsan.

This new factory will start to produce a 30MW solar cell from the beginning of 2008.
